Comer Cox Park and Chamberlain Park Survey

Working in Partnership with the Springfield Park District and Ward 2 Alderman Shawn Gregory (Comer Cox Park) and Ward 3 Alderman Roy Williams (Chamberlain Park), UAct awarded PHASE 217 funds to conduct separate surveys to business leaders and residents in the target population around Comer Cox Park and Chamberlain Park.

For Comer Cox Park, the surveys helped inform improvements to the park with monies allocated for that purpose. For Chamberlain Park, the surveys were conducted to help inform the SPD in their design of a new vision for Chamberlain Park and to assist with fund-raising.

UAct President and PHASE Executive Director continue to work in collaboration with the SPD and other partners to support improvements to these critical East Springfield parks.
